Tomáš Vodňanský
is a violoncellist and a founding member (1994) of Metropol Quartet.
He studied at Prague Conservatory at professor P. Sádlo. Later he cooperated with the preeminent Czech orchestras (Plzeň Radio Orchestra, Film Symphony Orchestra – FISYO, Prague State Opera, Musici de Praga, Armonie Pragenses, Prague Collegium).
At present, he is a chamber musician and he is employed in Dvořák Chamber Orchestra and Prague Royal Orchestra where he is a member of the management simultaneously.
